Christmas Letter 2015
Lexi is in her fourth year at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, graduating in the spring with a HBA in history. She already has a sales job lined-up with an exciting software company called LookbookHQ. Lexi spends her spare time at Queen’s working for Muse Magazine as the business manager and heading the social committee for the Vogue Charity Fashion Show.
Jack is in his second year at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, working on his Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Jack worked for a software company called Vena Solutions the past two summers, on the inside sales team and will work there again this coming summer. In his spare time, Jack loves being the deejay at school events.
Ross is in grade twelve at Royal St. George’s College and is diligently working to achieve high grades with plans to study computer science at university in the fall. Ross coaches ski racing in the winter and loved his eleventh summer at Camp Hurontario where he was a camp counsellor. Ross spends his spare time hanging out with his buddies, quite often writing computer code.
Lianne fills her days with tennis, golf and walking the beloved family dog, Scout along the Humber Trail. In her spare time, Lianne is the household general manager, holding down the fort, overseeing home renovations and planning family events. The highlight of Lianne’s year was our family trip to Peru in April where we hiked the Inca Trail, visited Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca, and while camping in the Andes, hiked with Lexi to an attitude of 4000 m above sea level.
Paul loves keeping his hand in many endeavors including corporate board work and being the CEO of a software company called DisclosureNet. Paul enjoys being the mentor to many young people and friends, kindly giving career advice and sharing his knowledge about the software industry. Most importantly, Paul is a loving father and mentor for our three kids, all whom seem to be following in his footsteps in the software industry.
Lucy the Lab is 14 ½ and is a fixture at our front door. She is an old gal, however still wags her tail and happily endures attention from adoring Scout. Scout the one-year old Border Collie, had a brush with death, tearing himself on a nail at the dog park. Four hours of surgery, fifty stitches and twenty staples later, he has recovered and has a wicked scar to brag about to his pals. Scout loves to go for long walks and is looking forward to family time in Caledon over the holidays.
